In Hye Park

Kathy In-hye Park is a South Korean actress based in Seoul. She studied in the UK for 13 years and majored in English Studies (literature) at Durham University. She studied camera acting at Kim Ji-su Acting Academy for 2 years and participated in workshops and productions at the Anton Chekhov theatre, Seoul.

In her first short film 'Assa,' she played the role of Jin, an aspiring artist who struggles to realise her dream in a culture where she is an outsider. In 'Body Stories: Together,' she played Sooji, a woman in a long-distance relationship during the pandemic period. She has also participated in other acting and voice over projects.

Kathy is able to speak English and Korean fluently, sing and play the piano. She believes that films allow people to grow in their understanding and love towards a greater diversity of people. She wants to work in projects, particularly short and independent films, which allow for the expression of creativity, empathy and innovation.
